When my grandmother died in 2007, I remembered that she looked in awe at Wikipedia on the Internet. She had a hard time coming to terms with the enormous implications of the concept and the freedom this implied for all individuals who could access this free information source. No wonder! She lived her youth in an age when people who owned a dictionnary at home were considered out of reach intellectuals, believe it or not, in the early nineteen hundreds, those people were the geeks of their day.
